Use the isolated cranial dura and the cranial cavity to identify the dural reflections and dural venous sinuses.

  1. Identify the falx cerebri (G 7.24A;N 104;Gl 40.13) and tentorium cerebelli. (G 7.26;N 105;Gl 40.15)
  2. Identify the superior sagittal, straight and transverse sinuses. (G 7.25;N 104;Gl 40.17)
  3. Identify the sigmoidal sinus in the posterior cranial fossa. (G 7.25;N 105;Gl 40.17) Use a scalpel to open (in order to identify) the sigmoid sinus.
