  1. Identify the tendons and bellies of the peroneus longus and brevis muscles. (G 6.62B; N 506;Gl 32.21B)
  2. Trace the tendon of the peroneus brevis muscle to its distal attachment to the lateral base of the 5th metatarsal. (G 6.63B;N 506;Gl 32.21B)
  3. Trace the tendon of the peroneus longus muscle distally until it disappears into the plantar aspect of the foot.
