- Identify the tendon of the flexor hallucis longus muscle. Trace the tendon to its attachment to the distal phalanx of the 1st toe.
- Identify the two heads of the flexor hallucis brevis muscle.
- Reflect the tendons of the flexor digitorum longus and lumbrical muscles towards the metatarsal-phalangeal joints and identify the transverse and oblique heads of the adductor hallucis muscle.
- Identify the flexor digiti minimi brevis muscle.
