- On the left side of the cadaver, identify the region of the central tendon of the diaphragm.
- Identify the esophageal hiatus, aortic hiatus, left crus of the diaphragm, medial arcuate ligament and lateral arcuate ligament.
- Attempt to identify the inferior phrenic artery. (G 4.86B;N 259;Gl 16.7)
- Attempt to trace the left greater splanchnic nerve to the celiac ganglion. (G 4.88;N 262;Gl 16.40)
