Identify the surface features of the heart. (G 3.43;N 209 and 211;Gl 9.11)
- Identify the superior vena cava, inferior vena cava and right atrium (see cross section - and disect the myocardium to reveal the atrium in the rendering area). Identify the right auricle.
- Identify the openings for the pulmonary veins and the left atrium. Identify the left auricle.
- Identify the ascending aorta and the pulmonary trunk.
- Identify the right and left ventricles, and the coronary and interventricular grooves.
