- 1. Thoracolumbar fascia, iliac crest, inguinal ligament
- 2. Inferior border of 10-12 ribs, linea alba, Pubis
- Innervation: Ant. rami of inferior 6 thoracic and first lumbar nerves
- Arterial Supply: Superior, deep, and inferior epigastric a.
- Action: Compresses and supports the abdominal viscera

- 1. Pubic symphysis and pubic crest
- 2. Xiphoid process, 5-7th costal cartilages
- Innervation: Ant. rami of inferior 6 thoracic nerves

- Action: Flexes trunk and compresses abdominal viscera

- 1. Lower 6 costal cartilages, thoracolumbar fascia, iliac crest, inguinal ligament

- Action: Compresses and supports the abdominal viscera

- 1. Body of pubis
- 2. Linea alba
