Abductor

• Abductor Pollicis Longus
  • Bony Attachments:
    • 1: Interosseous membrane, proximal radius and ulna
    • 2: Base of 1st metacarpal
  • Innervation: Radial nerve (C7, C8)
  • Arterial supply: Interosseous artery
  • Action: Abducts the thumb at the carpometacarpal joint
