Femoral Triangle

With the background information you now have, you can clearly define the boundaries of the femoral triangle and its contents. Look for the sartorius laterally, the adductor longus medially, and the inguinal ligament superiorly. Remember, the pectineus is the floor of the triangle and the now-missing fascia lata is the roof of the triangle.

Within the triangle once again identify from lateral to medial the femoral nerve, the femoral artery and the femoral vein.
