Anatomy Pathways

Welcome to Anatomy Pathways, an interactive guide to the anatomy of the human body utilizing the virtual cadaver provided by the VH Dissector. If you are brand new to the VH Dissector, it is recommended that you check out the "Getting Started" FAQs and Regional Worksheets on the main lesson page. To get back to the main page, select "Lesson" from the menu bar at the top of this application (NOTE: not the "Lessons" tab) and click "Go to Index".

Now is also a good point to discuss "Best Practices" with regard to gross anatomy. You may have an image atlas that accompanied your textbook. Some students get an anatomy "coloring book". If you have neither, you can use images in your textbook. As you identify the critical pieces of anatomy you are responsible for in this course, find a suitable diagram in the print resource of your choice and "highlight" it. If you're REALLY organized, you can get those little adhesive tabs to mark this page so you can access it quickly when you want to come back for review and study.
