Identify the distal attachments of the extensor carpi radialis longus (base of 2nd metacarpal) and brevis (base of 3rd metacarpal) muscles and the brachioradialis (lateral distal radius) muscle. (G 2.84B;N 431;Gl 26.16)
- Trace the tendon of the brachioradialis to its muscle belly.
- Trace the tendons of the extensor carpi radialis longus and brevis to their muscle bellies. You may need to split the medial aspect of the extensor retinaculum to trace the tendons.
