  1. Identify the radial nerve in the interval between the brachioradialis and brachialis muscles.
  2. Identify the superficial and deep branches of the radial nerve. Trace the deep branch into the supinator muscle. Trace the superficial branch distally to where it emerges from deep to the extensor carpi radialis longus tendon.
