Use the isolated cranial dura and the cranial cavity to identify the dural reflections and dural venous sinuses.

  1. Identify the falx cerebri (G 7.20;N 102;Gl 34.13) and tentorium cerebelli. (G 7.22;N 103;Gl 34.17)
  2. Identify the superior sagittal, straight and transverse sinuses. (G 7.20 7.22;N 102 and 103;Gl 34.17) Observe the arachnoid granulations in the superior sagittal sinus.
  3. Identify the sigmoidal sinus in the posterior cranial fossa. (G 7.22;N 103;Gl 34.17)
