Identify the surface features of the cerebrum (refer to the Lateral Brain interactive photographs).
- Identify any arachnoid mater that may remain on the surface of the cerebrum.
- Identify the precentral gyrus, central sulcus, postcentral gyrus, lateral sulcus (fissure), and frontal, parietal, occipital and temporal lobes on the lateral side of the cerebrum. (G 7.84A;N 104;Gl 40.6)
- Identify the anterior and middle cerebral arteries on the medial aspect of the cerebrum. (G 7.28;N 140;Gl 41.7A) Trace the middle cerebral artery to the lateral sulcus.
