Medial Meniscus
Sitting
Ask the patient to wear shorts.
Anterior to the patient.
 
Please sit and relax. May I touch the front of your knee? (or point to the demonstrated area). Please turn your toes to point inward.
Guide the patient to sit. With the patient relaxed and with permission, let your fingers move into the joint space just medial to the patellar ligament. Guide the patient to medially rotate the knee, which causes a slight bulging of the medial meniscus. Pain may be produced if there were damage to the medial mensicus.
VH - Medial meniscus - on one side add the lateral meniscus
