Introduction - Overview - Identification - Summary - Clinical Case Study
General Thigh, Fascia, Veins

We can begin this part of the exercise on the anterior side of the lower limb. Identify the thick iliotibial tract emanating from the lateral iliac crest and covering the tensor fascia lata muscle. This tough band runs to the proximal end of tibia. Understand the iliotibial tract is only a modified part of the fascia lata or the deep fascia of the thigh. Find the great saphenous vein as it ascends the medial side of the lower limb and empties into the femoral vein.
