- Identify the temporalis muscle.
- Reflect the temporalis muscle and attached coronoid process in the superior direction and identify the deep temporal nerves and arteries entering the deep surface of the temporalis muscle. (G 7.42A & B;N 39; Gl 34.24)
Important Relationship
- The temporalis muscle passes medial (deep) to the zygomatic arch.
