Identify the surface features of the lungs. (G 3.30 and 3.31;N 195 and 196;Gl 10.7)
- Identify the superior, inferior and middle lobes, and oblique and horizontal fissures of the right lung.
- Identify the main bronchus, pulmonary arteries and pulmonary veins at the hilus of the right lung (G 3.32;N 196;Gl 10.7)
- You may be able to locate impressions (embalming artifacts) for the superior vena cava, arch of the azygos vein and esophagus on the medial surface of the right lung.
- Identify the superior and inferior lobes, and the oblique fissure of the left lung.
- Identify the main bronchus, pulmonary artery and pulmonary veins at the hilus of the left lung. (G 3.33;N 196;Gl 10.7)
- You may be able to locate the groove (embalming artifact) for the arch of the aorta, descending aorta and esophagus on the right lung.
